Gannets at Muriwai.

Muriwai gannet colony.

Gannets have a wingspan of almost 2 metres.

They glide effortlessly past vertical coastal cliffs and manoeuvre around offshore sea stacks before plunging vertically into the sea in search of food.

Final approach.

…for gannets and humans.

Fearless fliers.
