Abundant pollen by the bundle, heaps of nectar and the colour purple make this plant a bee magnet. This is theory however and i wont know for sure till I leave this plant outside for a bit. (From Kings plant barn a cool flower place).
Bob Geldof hair, beautiful flower and a bud to watch where bees buzz. Not sure if this plant likes heavy rain with all that styling.
Bundles of pollen straps keep bees happy and help save the planet from intensive agriculture…… by planting where intensive agriculture happens.
Interesting plant otherwise known as Virgins Bower or Old Man’s beard. The latter is probably a Bob Geldof reference. At the time, Boomtown Rats, “Don’t like Mondays” was a favourite. Monday tomorrow. Apologies for punctuation, it is quite probably, crap.
