I rescued unhappy succulents and put them in a new home.
Two pleiospilos succulents. An old plant that had been languishing in a pot that was far too small (rear left). The large one on the right I rescued from the hardware store. It looked sad, but, was beginning to flower. I couldn’t resist buying it. It’s impossible to visit plant places and leave empty handed.
Centre front, a rather battered lithops succulent with a history.
If I’m not mistaken the flower bud is opening.
Can’t wait to see what this one looks like. Could google it but I prefer to discover with my trusty camera. Life is more interesting through a camera lens and I have a brand new left eyeball. l will have a brand new right eyeball by close of business, Tuesday.
Not a pretty sight.
Lithops in flower in happier days. I sliced the right hand side open, with a scalpel, to look at the cell structure inside. (an earlier post).
I might look a mess today, but, it has made a remarkable recovery.
