Texas Bluebells Fusion.
Two flowers for the price of one.
Rocks and flowers grab my attention when football is in the background. I have more success photographing rocks. They last for millions of years, are quite hard and don’t move around unless you are very unlucky. I love flowers, but, don’t look after them properly.
My Texas Bluebell plant lasted only a few days when I forgot to water it.
It was pretty in pink while it lasted.
I should have taken better care of this flower. Some rocks in my collection are millions of years old.
Five twirly shaped anthers. I think they are attached to the base of each petal or sepal. One anther has begun unzipping to release its pollen.
Two flowers for the price of one.
Twin carpels fused together(stigma pistil and ovary) in the centre. The furry green things are stigma. The hazy green outline at the base of the flower is a pair of fused ovaries.
