I’m not the Demogorgon, I’m a pretty Cotyledon flower.

No pretence with this plant. Work clothes on, covered in waxy dust.

I collected this plant a year ago. It’s a survivor.

The stitching holding anthers shut has come undone. Pollen is spilling all over the place.

The view from below. Green strap thingies in the centre are the stigmatic lobes.

Cotyledon Orbiculata looks better than last year. It fell out of its pot for a month and went without water for another six weeks. I didn’t expect it to recover.

It has turned out a wee beauty.
